QA Engineer

Blueleaf is on the look-out for a QA Engineer, to work on both projects and continuous improvements for our clients. This role is to join a highly ambitious team that pushes the boundaries of experiences across devices and platforms; whilst still delivering high converting, high performance experiences that are speedy, effective and beautiful.     This is a full-time, permanent role based at our office in Sofia.  

 

What will you be expected to do? 

As a QA Engineer, you are expected to:   

  • Build, update and execute functional, regression, integration, system, performance and UX test plans 
  • Create, track and manage defects in the bug tracking system 
  • Suggest process improvements for increasing product quality and reducing time to market 
  • Support our clients during UAT and day to day business 
  • Actively participate in team meetings and raise any quality related concerns 
  • Estimate QA effort based on story descriptions and acceptance criteria 
  • Be self-organized and keep track on work progress 
  • Support test automation activities 
  • Work closely with the senior team, UXers, Developers and Project Managers   

 

What experience will you have?  The following experience is required:   

  • 3 + years’ experience in web-based testing  
  • Experience of using JIRA 
  • Experience of working within an Agile and Waterfall project methodology 
  • Good understanding of QA processes and SDLC 
  • Experience with automation frameworks 
  • Understanding of OOP principles       

 

The following experience is desirable but not essential:   

  • Experience with eComm platforms, preferably Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware) 
  • ISEB/ISTQB qualified 
  • Experience working in an agency environment
