In September 2014 our CEO Richard Yeo and Bulgarian MD Ivailo Radev decided to cycle from Sofia to Burgas in 4 days. They were joined by Nikola a keen cyclist. After completing the ride they promised to do it again the next year.
This year between 14th – 17th September 2015 they completed a very similar route albeit 32km longer at 450km. They were joined by 6 staff and Neil Caddick from TheFilter (a Bath, UK based company). The team completed the following route in 4 days.
This year the team decided to publicise the event and raise money for a good cause. The good cause being to teach Bulgarian orphans English and give them a chance to do something positive with their lives once they leave the orphanage. It isn’t too late to donate!
The event was featured on BTV. You can watch the TechHuddle Tour de Bulgaria 2015 video.
Despite grazes, bruises and a broken elbow the TechHuddle Cycling Team are planning to do a similar event next year.
