As CEO of Ascent Software, Stewart is focused on enabling digital transformations for medium sized and enterprise customers.
Previously he transformed Adapt into a leading Multi-Cloud Managed Services Provider. Adapt was then sold to Datapipe in August 2016 supporting its internal transformation to become a scaled European Business. Datapipe was acquired by Rackspace in November 2017.
Stewart started in the IT Services industry in 2003 as Finance Director of Energis, a privately-owned UK telecoms business. He was a core part of the management team that successfully turned the business around and sold to Cable & Wireless in 2005 as part of a reverse takeover of C&W. Stewart was part of the team that led a successful IPO of C&W in 2010.
Prior to joining the technology sector in 2003, Stewart worked for Accenture in their consultancy practice and also KPMG in both audit and corporate finance departments.
As Group COO of Ascent Software, Joseph is focused on helping customers embrace digital transformation while creating value, nurturing talent and delivering robust technology solutions to a global audience.
He is a serial tech entrepreneur, investor, start-up mentor and a business executive with 20+ years of experience.
In 2003, Joseph co-founded his company, which has grown into a recognised provider of Software Development Services to customers worldwide. In 2019 Ascent Software become part of an international group of 3 companies. With 1000+ projects delivered globally across 200+ customers, Ascent Software is a strategic partner to businesses seeking to differentiate through software.
He started his entrepreneurial path in 1992, when he founded his first tech company focused on providing systems management solutions, hardware and packaged software to businesses locally. By 2002 Joseph had established a rich business portfolio across companies that supplied Commercial Security and Telecom Installation Services, Managed Services including Value Added Resellership for SAP deployments globally.
George leads Ascent’s customer facing teams and is responsible for taking the business’ services and solutions to market.
George has gained a wealth of experience in software, hardware, consultancy and managed services and thrives on being able to help customers understand how technology can underpin and enable business outcomes through digital transformation. Relationship development and customer alignment are George’s focus and passion. Working closely with his customers to develop a deep understanding of their business and market to better enable the delivery of disruptive solutions that provide competitive edge in their industry.
George joined Ascent from Rackspace where he led the UK New Business Consultancy teams focused on strategic growth for complex cloud, data and application professional and managed services. Prior to this, George worked in smaller and larger IT consultancy and services businesses such as Datapipe and IBM.
As Chief Financial Officer of Ascent Software, Ben has extensive experience in driving growth in private equity backed technology businesses. Shaping consistent, double-digit growth both organically and through acquisitions. Technically versed in US and UK GAAP including software revenue recognition accounting standards and experienced in the fiscal requirements of operating across International regions. Proven track record developing and implementing growth strategies in complex and rapidly changing environments. Accomplished in creating lean, efficient and scalable accounting functions that support rapid expansion whilst maintaining robust internal controls.
As an HR Director of Ascent Software, Hala has blue chip experience who brings clear strategic thinking along with a focus on delivery. Highly commercial, with the ability to contribute to wider business strategy and issues at Board level.
Charlie has extensive experience of service delivery and leading operational activity having worked across a diverse range of businesses such as classified advertising, search, eCommerce and metrics management.
Dimitar is responsible for leading the Bulgarian Operations at Ascent. Our experienced developers and testers can be hired by the day or by project.
Mariyana is responsible for recruitment and leads a dedicated team of recruiters. She is also responsible for social and team building events.
Dilyana is responsible for human resources, rentention, administration, procurement and facilities for our Bulgarian offices.
